Guy Js Lost & Found label launched to global acclaim in summer 2012. This exciting new platform will allow Guy to release not only his own critically lauded, sensual, hypnotic take on electronic music, but also give him the freedom to sign and nurture new talent and release hidden gems from the finest established artists. Lost & Founds highly anticipated second release comes from Kevin Yost, an outstanding musician, a master of restrained, classy deep house thats perfect atmospheric DJ material. One of USA's finest house producers, the universally respected Kevin Yost has translated his jazz inspirations and percussion inclinations into dance productions of the most gorgeous beauty for many years now, so you can imagine how honoured and excited Guy J is to be able to release Persistence on his new label. Guy Js own work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival, so the idea of him remixing a master creation such as Persistence was always going to be a very exciting prospect indeed. As he builds the atmosphere slowly and seemingly effortlessly in a journey-like arrangement, it is immediately obvious that this is yet another amazing Guy J creation. He pushes emotion buttons like no other, creating uplifting, intelligent and beautiful music as one of the standout electronic artists in the world today. Having released some incredible memorable moments on Chicago's seminal Guidance label and the New Jersey acid-jazz-house label i! Records, for many, Kevin Yosts 1998 single "One Starry Night" remains an untouchable classic. Fast forward 14 years and his creative genius is once again on show here on Lost & Found, the past and the future combined to a degree of perfection that few could match. This is music to be treasured forever. In a small town in Southern Pennsylvania, USA close to the border of Maryland is where my music started and continues to be created. Many people have confused me with living in a big city like Philadelphia or New York, but in fact a small town called Waynesboro is where I dwell. In a sense, living here is a good thing... no big city pollution, no traffic and no music business egos. This environment also gives me time to think about how amazing it is that a kid from such a small place can actually get the opportunity to travel and DJ all over the world. In all it has made me realize if you stay focused anything is possible. Kevin Yost
