Antoni Bios (Relogical, Shout Records) & Tol Gruber (Brood Audio, Hybrid Confusion) make their debut release on Frakture this month with 'Titans.' Having previously appeared on Frakture as remixers on the recently released 'Horus' by Forest People, the two team up to deliver some absolutely blistering head-down-techno originals. Bass and air pulse tight and violent on the opener 'Atlas.' Combined with its foreboding horn like drones and massive impacts it's a track that's sure to turn heads and get fists pumping. 'Kronos', has at its core a gut-check kick drum surrounded by machine noise. The track rises and falls eventually juxtaposing an idyllic tone over its driving rhythm. 'Hyperion' is cavernous and dark and in its design. Abstract rhythms and tones assemble themselves until a hi-hat slices through and brings clarity to seeming chaos. Kostas Maskalides (LCMTC, Akoom Records, Driving Forces Recordings) joins the Frakture clan with his remix for 'Atlas.' A dynamic and frantic affair, the remix seems like a natural extension of the original. We hope you enjoy this finely crafted release.
