On Silk Digital the original mix of "Changes" as well as remixes from Malevich, Fretwell, and Monojoke were recently released. Now on Silk Sofa, the Russian artist Abdomen Burst contributes an "Ambient Mix", and two new remixes are provided by N4M3 and Lime Time. Abdomen Burst's "Ambient Mix" quickly establishes a unique and soothing atmosphere; the various sound effects and the intriguing pad lines truly spice up the texture. The hypnotizing and beautiful female vocal stem is a neat addition, and the synth riffs from the original mix come into play later. From Estonia comes N4M3, who is a new addition to Silk. A delightful breakbeat is introduced, as well as a fairly deep bassline. This groove goes extremely well with the additional sound effects and the main synth riffs which are later added to the mix. Lime Time from Russia is likewise a new addition to Silk, who contributes with a more downtempo version. The lush pad layers and the tweaky percussion elements combine perfectly, and in the break we witness a charming new synth that is beautifully converted into the guitar melody from the original track.
